Kleivstua is a beautiful hotel in a spectacular setting at the forest edge, only 45 km from Oslo. From the ridge are panoramic views of the stunning woodland and Steinsfjorden far below. Kleivstua is history, tradition, and enchanting forest tales. Its buildings have been beautifully restored. All rooms are named after the Asbjørnsen and Moe fairytale characters who roamed these forests. 

As well as offering the perfect setting for conferences and corporate events, the hotel also provides the ideal backdrop for functions ranging from weddings to Christmas parties. The unique atmosphere and warm hospitality are noticeable from the second that you enter! For hikers and cross-country skiers, Kleivstua is the natural starting point at Krogskogen. Families have the option to rent their own cabin and enjoy delicious meals in their own separate areas if they so wish. 

Conferences
Kleivstua is the perfect venue for a successful meeting. With its historical ambiance complemented by modern meeting facilities, delicious food, friendly hosts, and spectacular scenery on the doorstep, everything is in place for positive and productive gatherings.

The hotel offers 8 meeting rooms with space for up to 100 people, and the two largest, Villa Utsikten and Langhuset, are detached buildings with their own break areas. For larger groups, Restaurant Dronningens Utsikt is used. It is also possible to book the entire venue. With 43 rooms and a 108-people capacity, the possibilities are many.

Kleivstua offers activities to suit every taste. Lavvoen and Stallen close to the hotel are ideal for more informal gatherings. Entertainment and activities are available both indoors and outdoors in enchanting surroundings.
