At Koppangen Brygger Alf and his dog Bella will welcome you to a stay in Lyngen. A great base for hikes, fishing and skitouring in the Lyngen Alps region. Their 4 apartments and 3 double rooms can offer accommodation for up t0 30 guests.
Koppangen brygger is quietly situated on the western side of the Lyngenfjord, in the heart of the Lyngen Alps. From Koppangen Brygger you have a fantastic view over the Lyngenfjord and the Kåfjord Alps. A 10-15 minute boat ride will take you to Årøyholmen, the only island in the Lyngenfjord, and an island full of history. Årøyholmen has probably been inhabited since the iron age, and here you will find war memories and bear graves.
Koppangen brygger has 2 large (70m2) and 2 smaller (48m2) apartments, over 2 floors, and has 6 beds. 3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living room, and a private bathroom. The largest apartments has their own sauna. The apartments has a terrace with a view over the Lyngenfjord.
The smaller apartments have 2 bedrooms with 4 beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private bathroom.
All apartments have an outdoor hot tub available for use.
In the main building, there are 3 new double rooms with their own bathroom and access to a shared common relaxation area. There is no kitchen, so all the meals have to be pre-booked in the restaurant on the second floor.
The restaurant serves locally produced food from Lyngen, as far as possible.
In addition, Koppangen Brygger offers a course- and conference room for small to medium-sized groups of up to 25-30 people.
The room has a kitchen and A/V equipment.
Koppangen Brygger offers various activities, both summer, and winter. Dogsledding, cross country skiing, berry- and mushroom picking, hiking trips and fishing trips.
Supermarkets, gas station, a few shops, and tourist information are located on Lyngseidet, 17 kilometers from Koppangen Brygger. On the way to Koppangen, you will drive through Lyngseidet.
From the ferry dock, the ferry crosses the Lyngenfjord to Olderdalen. From the dock busses also go in the direction of Tromsø (south), and Alta (north).
