Loppa is located in the south-west of Norwegian Lapland/Finnmark County, on the coast. Loppa is well worth a visit, both on sunny days and in winter storms.

You can also take a trip right up to the Øksfjord glacier, either by foot, ski or boat. The waters around Loppa are well-known for their great fishing. The Hurtigrute ships call into Øksfjord daily, all year round. Two hours by car/bus from Øksfjord to Alta which has daily flight connections to Oslo and Tromsø.
