Loppa is located in the south-west of Norwegian Lapland/Finnmark County, on the coast. Loppa is well worth a visit, both on sunny days and in winter storms.
The countryside around Loppa provides wonderful silence and memorable adventures such as trips on the glacier, hunting and fishing. You can also take a trip right up to the Øksfjord glacier, either by foot, ski or boat. The waters around Loppa are well-known for their great fishing. The Hurtigrute ships call into Øksfjord daily, all year round. Two hours by car/bus from Øksfjord to Alta which has daily flight connections to Oslo and Tromsø.
