Mathallen Tromsø is a temple for Arctic, North Norwegian ingredients with a deli shop and a first-class restaurant.
In the deli shop you will find all sorts of delicacy groceries, such as cheese, meat and fish. The best cheese that Norway as to offer, lie side by side with famous names from abroad, making it sharp in the competition. The meat counter is filled with both familiar and perhaps less familiar prime cuts, all from local meat suppliers. But the really unique Arctic delicacies are harvested from the cold ocean, and are found in our shop and and menus. The quality and selection in our fish counter is what truly distinguish us from other deli shops around the world.
If we cannot find the right product to lift the quality of the meal, either in our kitchen or in your home, we develop it ourselves. This has lead to a significant number of of self produced goods, which can be bought in the deli shop.
The combination of first-class ingredients and innovative creativity lay the foundation for the food experience in our restaurant. Our young kitchen staff, managed by head cheaf Gunnar Jensen, serves lunch from 11.00 to 16.00 and dinner until 22.00 in the evening. The best Arctic ingredients of the season makes for a holistic experience, which can be indulged for several hours. For those with less time on their hand, we also have a diverse and tasty à la carte menu.
