5 min. drive from good fjord-fishing, 10-30 min. from good trout lakes. 14-foot boats with 5-8 HP outboards for hire on the fjord. Feb./March - fjord fishing for cod. Summer - coalfish, cod, ling, redfish, haddock, torsk and whiting. June/July trolling for salmon & sea trout. Crabs. Aug./Sept. mackerel. Eels in the estuary. Trips with local fishing-smacks. Salmon & sea trout in several good reaches of the river, from medio July to 1. October. Portable canoe for hire.Good walking, marked trails. Sat. is changeover day. Ferry-free connection.
