Øvrevoll Galoppbane is located on Jar in Bærum in a charming setting only 15 minutes from Oslo. The country's only gallop track arranges races every week / Thursday from April to November, with Derby Day at the end of August as its major highlight. Equestrian sports are exciting and there are several ways to play when you bet on horses and even nore fun when you are several people together. Our hosts at the hatches will help you. Did you get a hot tip? Come see the horses parading before start in the paddock.

In the audience area there is a built-in main grandstand. At the parade paddock you will find Sherryhaugen with the newly opened Café Hygge which serves good dishes and homemade Italian pizza.

Øvrevoll is a great arena for large and small events, meetings, kick-offs and conferences. Our function rooms can be rented on race days and for other events. We work with the Dinner group to deliver food of excellent quality.

As of today, there are about 200 horses that are stabled at Øvrevoll and in the immediate vicinity. The season is from mid-April to early December.

The area consists of a grass field that is about 2000 meters in circumference and has a width of about 15 meters. Most of the main races are held on the grass court. There is also a sand track or dirt track track as it is also called which is used for daily training and running.
