Thorbjørnrud Hotel - Jevnaker

The Director´s Venerable Residence Thorbjørnrud has a history that goes all the way back to the 1300s. From 1765, Thorbjørnrud was the residence of the directors of Hadeland Glassverk.

The modern conference hotel is located in picturesque surroundings in an 8 acres property that goes all the way down to Randsfjord. Exciting interior, art and modern design, combined with old atmosphere, make Thorbjørnrud special. The hotel has its own shoreline and a beautiful newly restored garden. A 5 minutes walk takes you to Hadeland Glassverk.
 

In 2010, we decided to be the best in Norway on local food and today we have our own farm with more than 500 happy animals.
We make our own cheese in our old swimmingpool and we brew our own beer.
When you enjoy a meal in our hotel you will be served meat, cheese and vegetables from our own farm.
