Beaches, culture, history and more

Situated about 50 minutes south of Oslo in Eastern Norway, Moss is easily reachable by train. Here, you can find everything from modern shopping centres to old-fashioned markets and handicraft shops.

Not to mention there are as many as 50 beaches in and around Moss!

Moss is one of Norway’s oldest and most versatile industrial centres. Møllebyen ("The Mill City"), which is located by Mossefossen waterfall, was the focal point of the city’s first industrial epoch and held this status until approximately 1970. Here, Moss Town and Industrial Museum has permanent exhibitions focusing on the milling, water, and paper industry.
