Stavanger and Kristiansand Symphony Orchestras in symphonic collaboration

Stavanger Konserthus invites you to a magnificent and rare collaboration between the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra. Together they will perform Shostakovich's dramatic and intense Fourth Symphony under the baton of chief conductor Andris Poga. Before the interval, we will hear Julian Rachlin – who established himself as one of the world's foremost classical violinists at the age of 13 – both as concertmaster and soloist in Mendelssohn's beautiful violin concerto.

The concert will also be performed on Friday 17 April in Kristiansand and Saturday 18 April at the Oslo Concert Hall.
