Vest-Agder Museums in Southern Norway

Vest-Agder-museum is a union of cultural heritage museums in Southern Norway. The museum union includes eleven museums, located close to each other in the southern part of Norway.

Visit an open-air museum, Gimle Gård Manor House Museum, Odderøya Museum Harbour and the WW2 Cannon Museum in Kristiansand. Ride the Setesdalsbanen Museum Railway in Vennesla, visit Mandal Town Museum, the working factory museum at Sjølingstad Uldvarefabrik in Lindenes, Lista Eco-museum in Farsund and Flekkefjord Museum on the western county boundary. The Tingvatn area in the municipality of Haegebostad is one of the most fascinating sites of historical and archaeological interest. D/S Hestmanden opens in 2017 and is a sailing museum and a memorial from WW2. For more information see vestagdermuseet.no.
