Autumn landscapes in Norway.

Welcome to Norway, Canadians!

With Air Canada's new direct route from Toronto to Oslo, launching in June 2027, Norway is now closer and easier to reach than ever. Explore Viking history, charming cities, world-famous fjords, scenic railways, and extraordinary natural wonders.

New direct flight

Starting 2 June, to 10 October, Air Canada will fly four times a week between Toronto and Oslo.

Flights will operate from Oslo on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 3 June to 11 October. From Toronto, they operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Air Canada’s new direct route between Toronto and Oslo marks a historic milestone as the first ever non-stop flight connection between Norway and Canada. The new service will make it much easier for Canadian travellers to explore Norway’s many wonders.

Walk in the footsteps of the Norwegian Vikings, who were the first Europeans to reach what is now Canada!

Explore the colourful historic waterfront of Bryggen in Bergen, the gateway to the Norwegian fjords, and discover the Art Nouveau architecture of Ålesund.

Electric day cruises

If you love Canada's stunning scenery, you'll feel right at home in Norway. Our landscapes are equally impressive, yet distinctly different. Discover deep fjords carved by glaciers, dramatic cliffs rising straight from the sea, and world-famous hikes such as Preikestolen and Trolltunga.

Sail silently through the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord or Geirangerfjord aboard an electric cruise ship, ride some of the world's most spectacular railways and experience the dramatic landscapes of Northern Norway, where the midnight sun lights up the landscape 24/7 in summer.

In Oslo, Norway's vibrant capital, you can combine urban culture with nature right on the doorstep: From floating fjord saunas and lively waterfront dining to world-class art museums and a mix of historic and striking contemporary architecture.
