Get introduced to some of Norway's most photogenic spots.

I 2016, 24-year-old Andreas Orset outmaneuvered more than 1,000 other applicants to land a somewhat unique job, advertised by the Norwegian shoe manufacturer Alfa. The job description was to hike through Norway on foot for at least a full year – while blogging about it, and sharing the experience on social media.

The past 12 months, Orset has crisscrossed the country. He has visited both well-known and less famous parts of Norway, including mountain peaks in the north, national parks in the east and scenic fjords in the western part of the country. Orset is still busy exploring the country. You can follow his journey and see his jaw-dropping images by following @alfaeventyreren on Instagram.

Below you can read about Orset's top 10 recommendations on lesser-known Instagram-friendly spots in Norway.
