SYMRE is a songwriter and guitarist from Morgedal. The lyrics are in Norwegian dialect, and often receive the feedback "quirky", with humour as an important tool. The music is playful, and draws elements from jazz, folk, pop and rock. SYMRE has a passion for engaging performance, and is known for good contact with the audience. Fellow Telemark natives Jon Espelid (drums), Torjus Gravir Klykken (bass) and Åsmund Skjeldal Waage (vibraphone) contribute to the upcoming record, and of course also at the concert!
