Askim
The museum's buildings are positioned as they would have been on a medium-sized farm in Askim in the middle of the last century.
Askim Museum
The museum is beautifully situated on Grøtvedtåsen and consists of a farmyard with two farmhouses, farm building, storehouse and dressing room. Below is "Kjøbmandsgaarden", where half the first floor is decorated like an old general store. On the second floor there are nice living rooms and a kitchen from the 1950s.

The nature park / Viking Square
To the west, a nature park has been created, or Vikingplassen as SFO and pupils call it. The park is open and free to all. Here you can have a barbecue and familiarize yourself with the flora and fauna. In the area you will find an amphitheater with lights all around, but also a small barbecue hut.
