Bolstad Restaurant

Bolstad restaurant is a lunch restaurant along the E6, between Brumunddal and Moelv. This makes us a perfect stop for those who are on the move, either up to a cabin at Sjusjøen, further along the E6 or those who live in the immediate area. We offer a homely atmosphere, with a fire in the fireplace and plenty of room for many, including those planning bus trips. We accept orders for cakes and work lunches.

All food, ice cream and cakes are self-produced from scratch, with natural and fresh ingredients, full of flavour. The menu is planned based on which ingredients are in season and which ingredients we have available in the local area. Our dishes have generous portions whether it's lunch or dinner. 

Do try our very special pizza made from Swedish thin bread. It is baked at a local bakery, and roasted on a griddle, with a unique spice mixture, which makes it very special. We vary the filling depending on the season, but we can promise you a tasty experience!

Family
We know how important it is for families with young children to have somewhere to go, where the children can play freely. We have therefore created our own little Bolstad playland! It is equipped with a slide, play kitchen and lots of toys and books. A perfect little place for the little ones to frolic while mum or dad enjoys a hot coffee. Our large and open premises also make it great to come with a pram. Try our children's menu, which is served with a scoop of free ice cream for all children!

Shop
We want to support locally produced food, and we therefore use this in our meny. You can also see this in our small shop. Here we have everything from locally produced chocolate, juice and jam to soaps and ceramics. We want to showcase everything that the Mjøsa region has to offer! We have a factory outlet at Kvarstad chocolate, this means that the store is overflowing with lovely home-made chocolate! Come by and have a look!

Meetings, parties and catering
At Bolstad, we offer catering, meeting rooms and parties. We often welcome companies and meetings outside our opening hours, so here there are good opportunities for a pleasant gathering for your event. We have options to adapt menus according to your wishes and we accept or send out catering for all types of parties, whether it is confirmation, memorial gathering, baptism or 60th anniversary. Everyone is welcome with us!

We have cozy meeting rooms suitable for work meetings and smaller companies. The meeting room is equipped with a large TV for viewing. Coffee, water and chocolate snacks are served on arrival.

Accommodation along the E6
Bolstad restaurant also has motel rooms, Bolstad motel, easy accommodation for those who are on the move! The rooms have their own entrance, free wifi, private bathroom with shower. Simple accommodation where you can come and go when you want.  A large charging station for electric vehicles is only 500 m from the motel. 

Activities near Bolstad restaurant
We are the nearest neighbor to Prøysenhuset, where there are lots of activities for families with small children. It is just a short walk from the Motel to Prøysenhuset. By car, it only takes you 5 minutes to the center of Brumunddal with its cosy market place and the Mjøspark, a vast outdoor recreational area, open for the public. It is not far to either Lillehammer or Hamar from our restaurant.
