Driving through Svalbard's landscape, in the twilight, is magical. The light will transform the white snow into soft blue and pink pastel colours, gently illuminating the mountains and valleys that have been covered by darkness since November. After driving through the frozen landscape, we will have a delicious 3 course dinner at our gamme.
Driving through Svalbard’s landscape, in the twilight, is magical. The light will transform the white snow into soft blue and pink pastel colours, gently illuminating the mountains and valleys that have been covered by darkness since November.
In between the Polar night and the Midnight sun, one can experience the most peculiar light on Svalbard. The low set sun is casting its light on the snow-covered landscape, highlighting its dramatic contours.
Driving through silent valleys and along towering mountains we reach our gamme, a traditional Sami hut. Here, we can heat up by the fire and will have a delicious three course dinner. While enjoying the amazing view, we can watch the twilight setting over Spitsbergen, bathing everything into soft blue colours.
This is an “open destination” trip. This means that our guide will use his/her local knowledge and experience to find the ultimate route and destination to enjoy the twilight.
We require a minimum of 2 persons on this trip.
A valid driver’s licence for car or motorbike is required to drive a snowmobile. Remember to take it with you on the tour. The passenger does not need to have a driver’s licence.
