Beautifully located on the southern tip of Reinøy you'll find Finnkroken Lodge. With wonderful views south towards the town of Tromsø, encircled by Langsund and Grøtsund is our 6 rental cottages and guest houses with rooms for meetings and training sessions. You can enjoy panoramic views, enjoy the silence and watch the northern lights dance across the sky. We offer spots for caravans and campers and barbecue hut with seating for about 20 people. In the coastal zone, we have a floating wharf with boats for rent, jacuzzi, sauna, patio w/bbq, boathouse including a space to prepare and store the catch.
Our six rental cabins have varied size with 1-4 bedrooms for 2-8 people. Overall, there are 32 beds and 16 bedrooms. The cabins are winter insulated and have modern equipped kitchen, shower and toilet, Norwegian and international TV and terrace with stunning views. Service house with meeting and banqueting facilities for up to 40 people and a modern kitchen. Showers and toilets for campers and emptying opportunities for caravans. We have about 20 whole year – and temporary parking spots for caravans. In the coastal zone, we have a pier, boat rental, whirlpool, sauna, patio with grill, boathouse and space for preparation and storage of the catch. The rich fishing in the surrounding area and further towards Kvalsund and Ullsfjord makes us a favorite place for anglers and nature lovers. The area offers excellent leisure activities all seasons. From the cabins, there are superb hiking opportunities with marked trails, and great skiing. We recommend visiting the surrounding islands with its rich birdlife and distinctive cemetery.By appointment, it is possible to get guided village walk with information about the Finnkroken village's history and culture.We are located about 1.5 hours travel time by car (including ferry ride) from Tromsø Airport. On weekdays, there is bus connection morning and afternoon. Some days also express boat to and from Tromsø city center.
