Fishing trip with RIB-Lofoten

Book

Experience the Lofoten Sea with us and catch your own fish on board our authentic fishing boat.

On our fishing trips you can experience catching all kinds of fish. You can take the fish you catch with you if you wish, and here you can catch your own meal. The trip lasts over 3 hours in a traditional northern Norwegian fishing boat on the Lofoten Sea itself. You will hear stories/legends about fishing in Lofoten and, most importantly, you will get to try sea fishing with a rod. If you have never fished before and are not sure if you can handle it, don't worry, our experienced skipper will teach you all the basics so that you can have a great experience fishing in a safe way. Lofoten is known for its large quantities of fish, so here you have the opportunity to catch the big fish and get a memory for life! In the summer you often catch pollock, haddock, mackerel and coastal cod, but it is also common to catch tusk, sole, flounder and halibut. Take a look at the other common fish species you might be able to catch here. MS Luna is a well-maintained traditional fishing skate of the type that was used in Lofoten in the old days. We take a maximum of 12 people on board our fishing boat because our concept is to give all our guests a good experience and enough space to enjoy this unique and exclusive experience, so there will be plenty of space and enough fishing rods for everyone. Of course, the trip has much more to offer than just fishing. You will be surrounded by the unique Lofoten's nature with thousand meters high mountains plunging directly into the sea , idyllic bays with crystal clear water and chalk white sandy beaches, just to name a few. If we are lucky, we may even see sea eagles, whales, porpoises, sharks and seals. We take safety seriously and you will be equipped with a life jacket and life jacket. On board Luna, coffee will be included in the ticket. We do not serve food on board, but you can of course bring your own food. It is possible to stay inside the cabin if you get cold and need to warm up a bit. There is also a toilet on board.
