Ice Skating in Haugesund
Haugesund Ishall is located in the sports park in Haugesund just outside the city centre, and offers public skating for everyone. It takes about 25 minutes to walk from Haugesund city centre to the ice rink.
When is the ice rink in Haugesund open?
The ice rink opens every year in week 42 (mid-October), and is open until the end of April. See here for more information about opening hours.
How much does it cost to skate in the ice rink?
The Haugesund ice rink has free entry and equipment hire for children up to the age of 19. If you are over 19, you can find ticket prices here.
Is there an age limit for participating in public skating?
The ice rink is open to everyone, but children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Can I hire equipment in the ice rink?
It is possible to hire skates, helmets and have your own skates sharpened in the ice rink.
Mandatory equipment and other rules in the ice rink
It is mandatory to wear a helmet if you are skating in the ice rink. It is not permitted to use ice hockey sticks and pucks during public skating.
Is there parking at the ice rink?
There is free parking right next to the ice rink.
Bus from Haugesund city centre to Haugesund Ishall
You can take Kolumbus route 202 from Haugesund city centre. The bus leaves from the bus stop at Bytunet or Strandgata, and you must get off at the Haraldshallen stop.
Can I hire the ice rink for a children's birthday party or other event?
