Mjøstråkk
So much more than just a cycle ride around Mjøsa
Experience Mjøsa by bicycle
Mjøstråkk is a 234 km cycle route around Mjøsa, Norway’s largest lake. On two wheels, you get to experience a beautiful cultural landscape along with numerous attractions well worth a stop along the way.
The route is mostly gentle, and meanders through an open cultural landscape with rolling hills, old crofts, medieval churches, and manor farms. Traffic is limited, and some of the stretches are suitable for children.
It is up to you where to start and whether to go in the clockwise or anti-clockwise direction. You may wish to cycle the full length, or prefer to do just parts of the route – pick the distance that suits you best. Whatever you decide, we recommend that you take your time.
These pages will tell you everything you need to know for a slow-paced ride around Mjøsa.
