Nordvikgården

Nordvikgården is a cosy tourist cabin on idyllic Utsira. The cabin is self-service and can accommodate up to 43 people. Combine your visit to Nordvikgården with great nature experiences on Utsira; by bike or on foot.

The cabin has a total of 43 beds.

The cabin has running water and electricity, and is equipped with a fireplace, toilet, shower, dishwasher, stove, oven and necessary tableware. The cabin also has a screen and projector.

When booking beds and rooms, book via ut.no. If you want to rent the entire cabin, contact Haugesund Tourist Association by email or phone +47 52 71 53 11 (answered Monday - Friday 10:00 - 15:30).

You need to bring bed linen or a sheet bag. There are duvets and pillows. Sleeping bags are not allowed. The cabin does not have food storage.

Dogs are allowed in the ‘dalen’ room. The room has its own entrance from the outside. Pets are not allowed in the common areas of the cabin. Remember to bring your own food bowls for your dog. The key to the room is in the hallway.

To get to Nordvikgården, take the Utsira boat from Garpaskjærskaien in Haugesund. The boat trip to Utsira takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes.

This cabin is specially adapted for people with disabilities, and one bathroom and one room are specially adapted for wheelchair users. You can bring your own car on the boat over to Utsira, and drive all the way to DNT Nordvikgården. Approx. 5 min driving time by car to the house. There is no marked HC parking at the house, but plenty of space for parking. Read more about the design under the section Accessibility at ut.no.
