We offer guided tours, family activities and a separate route for children on which they can play and learn interactively. Our museum shop has exciting gift items, and the von Tangen restaurant has one of the best views in Bergen and serves tasty seafood dishes. Join a guided kayak tour for the whole family in the harbour. Hire a rowing boat or a kayak. It is also possible to swim and fish. Parking available.
The museum is easily reached in just 5 minutes by bus from Bryggen.
In the period from 15.05 to 15.09 you can travel to the museum with the traditional ferry Beffen! The boat takes about 20 minutes and leaves once a half hour from 10 am - 4.40 pm. Departure from the Fish Market by Shetlands- Larsens pier.
