The Panoramahyttene cabins is where incredible architecture meets exceptional landscapes. The cabins are situated among beautiful, rugged rocks and offer panoramic views towards the horizon and ocean. On windy days, the dance of the waves make for a wonderful sight, while on windless days the sea can be flat calm. If you're lucky, you can experience a beautiful evening with a breathtaking sunset.
What’s in the Panoramahyttene cabins?
The cabins have a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a toilet and shower, and a double bed on the main floor. The double bed and two single beds in the mezzanine have good spring mattresses, and there’s also a child’s bed on the mezzanine with a foam mattress.
You don’t have to think about bedlinen, towels and cleaning after your stay – they’re all included in the price.
The three micro cabins are furnished with comfort in mind and so that you can make the most of the views, whether from the comfortable bar stools in the dining area, the two lounge chairs, the double bed or the mezzanine.
Can I order food?
The cabins don’t offer a food service. The closest grocery shop is a seven-minute drive away by car, and it’s an eight-minute drive to Skudeneshavn, where you can find a number of restaurants and other places to eat. The Vinmonopolet off-licence is situated in Kopervik, 20 minutes away.
Are pets allowed in the Panoramahyttene cabins?
No pets are allowed in the cabins.
How do I get to the Panoramahyttene cabins?By plane:
The cabins are just half-an-hour’s drive from Haugesund Airport on Karmøy. It’s possible to rent a car or take a taxi from the airport.
Distance by car:Turn off the Fv47 road onto Sandhålandvegen road and follow the signs to Sandhåland Camping. Drive through the campsite to the cabins, which are situated down by the sea.
From Haugesund: 40 minutes
From Stavanger: 2 hours
From Bergen: 3 hours and 45 minutes
What can I experience close to the Panoramahyttene cabins?
Just a few minutes' walk from the cabins are two of the many beautiful sandy beaches on the island of Karmøy. The picturesque town of Skudeneshavn is just an eight-minute drive away. You will find an amazing array of hikes in the hills and along the coast of Karmøy. The historical village of Avaldsnes and the regional centre Haugesund are 25 and 40 minutes away, respectively.
