Pellestova - Hitfjell

Many people pass Hitfjell as a part of a longer hike or  a mountain bike tour, but it is not necessary to spend hours to enjoy the beauty of Hitfjell.

One alternative is to do a combination of biking and hiking. Go by bike from Pellestova to Hita seter, where you can leave your bike next to the road.  and then continue by foot up to Hitfjell.  The single trail starts right next to the road, on your right hand side. The trail is highly visible and there are red T's showing you the way all the way up to Hitfjell.

At the top you get great views and you can spot the mountains in Rondane and Jotunheim. Bring coffe and a snack and enjoy the view!
