Pluscamp Sandvik
Sandvik Camping in the middle of the Sognefjord is surrounded by plenty of different types of activities and attractions, and is therfore the perfect basecamp for your holiday.
Pluscamp Sandvik is an idyllic family campsite in Gaupne by the Sognefjord.
The campsite is in the middle of an old orchard, and there is a view of a glacier arm of Jostedalen from the site. Pluscamp Sandvik is located in an area between three national parks, and is a good base for activities and attractions nearby. There are opportunities to join guided boardwalks, kayak trips, rafting and other organized activities. In the mountains around Sandvik Camping, there are many marked mountain hikes you can go on, many of which have fantastic views.
Sanitary Building
The sanitary building offers family rooms with toilets, showers and changing rooms suitable for the little ones. At the sanitary facility there are also living rooms with kitchens and dining areas. In addition, there is a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
At Sandvik Camping there are 28 cabins of different standards and sizes. 12 of the cabins are simple camping cabins without shower and toilet, and 16 of the cabins are high-standard cabins with shower and toilet, and a fully equipped kitchen.
From all the cabins and the entire camping area you get a good view of a glacier arm of the Jostedals glacier. 30km from the campsite you will find Nigardsbreen, this is the most accessible glacier arm.
