Wergelandshaugen art center is located in Eidsvoll with an open sculpture park, cafe and events for everyone. In 2017, Annicken Thrane-Steen took over the venerable, but very dilapidated Magistrate's Court. It took four years to restore the old building, and at the same time a new studio, the art barn, and rental housing in the form of four micro-houses were built.
The stable wing has been renovated into a revitalized barn style with its own cafe, Amalies Have, which is open Thursday to Sunday each week. The new buildings function as exhibition and function room studios and as studios for artists for parts of the year.
