MINE SAFARI
For the more adventurous and curious, there are mine safaris to Gottes Hülfe in the North all year round!
Mine safaris are underground expeditions that give you a deeper insight into the vast underground mine system at Kongsberg. The tours go to areas that are not part of the regular tourist route. These are guided tours that offer an authentic mining experience with excitement and learning in parts of the mines without lighting and prepared terrain. Learn more at norskbergverksmuseum.no/gruvesafari.

SAKKERHUS SHOP
In the houses where the workers lived, called Sakkerhus, you'll find a museum shop during the summer season. Here, you can buy souvenirs such as miner's lamps, an incredible selection of beautiful stones, and literature about mining.
