Donkey trekking is a unique and delightful experience for people of all ages, and Tubbehaugen Camping on Golsfjellet offers this adventure. Donkey trekking involves walking through the beautiful mountain landscape with a friendly and sociable donkey that will carry your backpack and supplies. Tubbehaugen offers two standard tours and the possibility of custom arrangements.

Trollstien
An adventure tour for both adults and children, partly through the forest and marshland. You'll be provided with something to drink and snack on, which can be enjoyed at the resting place along the way. Children can answer questions and receive a prize afterward. Duration approximately 1 - 1.5 hours.

Rideturen (Riding Tour)
This is a short tour on the campsite, where children ride on the donkey led by an adult. Children receive a prize after the ride. Duration approximately 10 minutes. No reservation is needed for the riding tour; just drop by!

Custom Arrangements
It's also possible to arrange other tours, such as a trip to Steinstølan, mountain hikes, multi-day treks, birthday celebrations, and excursions to other locations. Feel free to contact us to explore the possibilities!

The donkey can carry your belongings, and children (up to 30 kg) can ride when they get tired. We provide clear instructions in advance on how to handle a donkey in various situations and about the personality of the specific donkey you'll be accompanied by.
