Straight to the attractions by public transport: When going sightseeing, you should be excited about what you're going to experience - not have to worry about how to get there. In Møre og Romsdal, the public transport company FRAM has made it easy to get to the main attractions. By combining a few existing routes, FRAM makes sure that you don’t get stuck on the way to Geiranger, Trollstigen and the Atlantic road. Travel like the locals, we call it.

Easy to book, easy to travel

It couldn’t be easier to get around in the Northwest. You can choose your trip, book and pay online. When the ticket is booked, you get a description of the journey that will help you along the way.

Sustainable travel

A trend within tourism is an increased focus on sustainability. If you are concerned about sustainable living, your will no doubt agree that it makes a lot more sense to hop on a bus instead of driving your own car. On public transport, you also get to see how the people who live here go about a regular day - you will meet them on the bus.

Attractions from Kristiansund, Molde and Åndalsnes

There are several routes to the main attractions. You can get to the national tourist route the Atlantic road by bus all year round, both from Molde and Kristiansund. The road follows the Atlantic Ocean and the views never fail to impress, whether it is sunny and calm or boisterous and stormy.

Another top tip is to go up the 11 hairpin bends along the Trollstigen road. You get an even more intense experience by bus. and the trip is available from Kristiansund, Molde and Åndalsnes. Just remember that the road is only open for traffic in the summer.

Many tourists wonder how to get to Geiranger – now there is a bus route from Molde and Åndalsnes. For those who want to travel off the beaten track we recommend a trip to Edøya and Veiholmen from Kristiansund, or to Ona lighthouse from Molde. You can also check out the fishing village of Bud.
