Mandal Guest Harbor is located right in the center of Mandal, with a short distance to all shops, beaches, and hiking areas.
As a boat tourist in Mandal, you are "right in the heart of it all," close to the town’s charming shopping streets and characteristic Southern Norwegian houses. It’s a short distance to Sjøsanden with its over 800-meter-long sandy beach and the other beaches in Furulunden. By boat in Mandal, you can moor either at the Guest Harbor at Kastellet or along Bryggegata in the town center. The harbor fee applies to boats moored between 6:00 PM and 10:00 AM the following day. There is no charge to stay in the harbor during daytime. A new sanitary facility was built in 2008, providing showers, toilets, washing machines, and dryers close to the harbor.
The guest harbor pier is available year-round. Harbor cards can be purchased from the machine and grant access to the service building, showers, and washing machines.
