This year, King Harald commemorates 25 years on the Norwegian throne.
During that time – that is, since the early 90s – the country has seen a lot of changes, both when it comes to standard of living and our lifestyles.
For some, the changes may seem scary – but for King Harald, what constitutes being “a Norwegian” has to be constantly redefined.
That was the main point in a speech he held during a garden party outside the Royal Castle on September 1. The speech has been a major hit in social media in Norway, with over two million views and 20.000 shares on Facebook.
