Life’s a beach, and especially for Frode Goa. Born and raised on the coast of Fjord Norway and with a lifestyle dedicated to surfing, Goa knows more about Norwegian waves and sandbanks than most.
Frode Goa was born in 1976 and grew up in the countryside of Randaberg, Jæren, on the west coast of Norway. With close access to sandy beaches and rolling waves, surfing quickly became a natural part of Goa’s life.
Even though Goa is a man of many passions, and by many Norwegians known as an artist, skater and fashion designer – he is the founder of the clothing retailer Kant – surfing has always been one of his main interests.
Goa worked in the first Norwegian surf shop for a decade and has explored every nook and cranny of the Norway coastline in search of the perfect wave. Today he lives in a beach house in Revtangen, just a stone’s throw from the ocean.
