The Sørlandsbadet waterpark has outdoor and indoor pools where the water temperature is always 30 degrees. Have competitions with the kids to see who in the family is the quickest down the 60-meter long slide.
In the water park has a children's pool, current channel, wave pool and a large sports pool. Swimming pool with water is open to adults plus children under three years. Here you will also find cold pool and various saunas.
In summer months, an outdoor swimming island is open for the kids called Saltos badeøy with outdoor slides, paddling pool and activity towers. There are sun lounges available for adults who want to get a tan whilst the kids play in the pool. During the holidays, the waterpark's mascots Salto and Selma (seals) visit every day to teach the kids the waterpark's dance.
Sørlandsbadet turpark (tour park) is a natural area with activities for the whole family. Choose from three different walking and riding tracks with different themes you can learn more about including life on the shoreline, woods and stones from the ice age. Visitors can barbeque and go on bike rides of varying length and difficulties.
You will also find an outdoor fitness park for free use. Children are welcome to play with exercise machines standing right in front of Rosfjord Strandhotell.
The Rosfjord Beach Hotel has a sandy beach at its doorstep where you can catch crabs, go fishing, diving, playing soccer or beach volleyball. There is a child-friendly menu, playroom in the basement and a large outdoor playing area. The waterpark and tourpark are both in walking distance from the hotel. Included with the stay are tickets for the waterpark.

Kvavik camping rents canoes and boats so families can enjoy boating on the lake in Lyngdalsfjorden. Kvavik beach is right next to the camping grounds which also has a soccer field and playground equipment. The lake area is very shallow so it is safe for kids to swim in.
