The skiers of tomorrow

Let the kids try skiing at an early age. In Oppdal you will find two kid-friendly lifts that are perfect for the youngest skiers.

A sense of achievement at an early age, a safe environment, and a chance to develop technique, not to mention easy access to hot cocoa. Essential elements for a child to thrive in the ski area. Vangslia and Stølen in Oppdal give the children a place to learn how to enjoy skiing.

For beginners we recommend Stølen. The slopes are gentle and kid-friendly. The lift is easy to take, and there is always a helping hand for those in need. The right length on the slopes, 200 meters downhill is just the right amount for the youngest skiers.

The conveyor belt in Vangslia is also a great place to start. The other ski-lift for the younger skiers in Vangslia is larger than the one in Stølen but also steeper, longer and more advanced. For the more experienced skiers, this lift offers a good time.

Vangslia is perfect for families with children with a different level of skiing.
