In fact, there are more than 50 airports throughout the country that are serviced through regular routes, making even remote places such as the Lofoten Islands, the North Cape and Svalbard easily accessible by plane. However, be prepared to change planes to reach your final destination, especially if you ar headed far north.

The main international airports in Norway are in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, Tromsø, Trondheim, Ålesund, Haugesund, and Sandefjord.
Norway is the country in Europe with the most flights per capita, and the routes from Oslo to Trondheim, Bergen, and Stavanger are all amongst the ten busiest in Europe.
Airlines
The two biggest airlines in Norway are SAS and Norwegian. Norwegian is one of Europe's leading low-cost airlines, with direct flights to Norway from more than 70 European airports. Both carriers offer codeshare with the regional airline Widerøe, which flies to more than 40 destinations and smaller regional airports in Norway, in addition to several destinations in Europe.
Norse Atlantic Airways flies to Norway from several destinations in the USA and Thailand.

Avinor Sandane
Sandane airport, Anda is an airport in the municipality of Gloppen in Sogn og Fjordane. It is owned and operated by Avinor AS. The airport is located north of the municipal center Sandane, at the root of a peninsula between Utfjorden and Gloppefjorden. The airport was opened in 1975 as the airport for the Nordfjord area.
