The train between Oslo and Stavanger connects with the Arendal Line at Nelaug station.
By bus
Busses from Oslo and Kristiansand stop along the E18 near Arendal. From there, you can take a local bus or jump in a taxi to your final destination.

From Denmark, you can take a ferry to Kristiansand and continue your journey from there.
By car
From Oslo and Kristiansand you can follow the road E18 and take exit 71 towards Arendal.

The nearest airport is Kristiansand Airport. From here, the Airport express coach will take you to Arendal.
