400 ml milk
3 eggs
100 g melted butter

Method
1. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar and cardamom. Add milk, a bit at the time, and mix until combined.
2. Stir in the eggs and melted butter to the mix. Then let the batter rest for 0.5 hours before making the waffles in the waffle iron. If you think the batter is too thick, add some water or milk.
3. Make the waffles in a waffle iron. Serve with butter and brown cheese, or whipped cream topped with jam.
For the best result, use a traditional Norwegian waffle iron and make heart-shaped waffles!
