Hjellåstårnet
The Hjellås Tower rewards you with a fantastic view, especially to the west and south. It is located on 238 m high Hjellsåsen, where one of two map measuring towers in Gaupesteinmarka could be climbed until the 1980s. Tårnlauget in Kråkstad Idrettslag has built a 12 meter high lookout tower that was officially opened on June 10, 2017. From Hjellsåstårnet there is a great view, and in good weather you see, among other things. Norefjell, Tryvannstårnet and large parts of Follo. The starting point is the car park at Granerud Shooting Range in Kråkstad. Follow road signs to Plots from the roundabout at Ski shopping center, past Ski small airport over the large agricultural plains in Kråkstad. After 6.5 km from the Ski center, follow the side road Vientjernveien for just over 800 meters, also signposted Granerud Skytebane, to a large car park and with a barrier on. Good hike! The Pilgrim’s Route 1 - Moss - Son
Moss – Son 16 km A visit to the Maria Chapel in the basement of the Arena Church and Culture Centre (give advance notice) will set you up for the day – and it starts with a hike through the beautiful Moss Woods. This is a relatively short day's hike. One option is to spend the day in Son, a charming coastal village with many old wooden houses. Here there is also a Coastal Culture Centre, restaurants and shops. Alternatively you could enjoy some quiet hours at Solåsen Pilgrim's Farm, with its lovely view of the Oslo Fjord. Son - by the sunny shores of the Oslofjord
Just 40 minutes south of Oslo you will find the idyllic coastal town of Son, located on the sunny side of the Oslofjord. Son is known for its old city center with wooden houses and narrow alleyways often associate with cities along the southernmost coast of Norway. Son offers a wide variety of cafes and restaurants as well as small niche boutiques. Only 10 minutes away You will find Oslo Fashion Outlet in Vestby, a good place to visit in combination with Son. The science park
Vitenparken (The Science Park) in the campus park of the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB) in Ås. It has be upgraded and rebuilt intermittently in 2013, paving the way for a more dynamic museum with circulating, themed exhibitions. We offer an auditorium for up to 50 people as well as a conference room with every technical facility. Guided tours in the UMB park and Meierimuseet (The Dairy Museum) can be arranged.
