Bring your kids to Hallingdal feriepark, go mountain biking on some of the country’s best tracks, or walk through the mountains in search of fishing rivers and bathing pools.
The small village of Ål lies between the mountains in the north end of the Hallingdal valley in Eastern Norway. Here you can go mountain biking on some of the best trails in the country, hike in the mountains, sunbathe by a mountain lake, or bring your fishing rod and find a quiet place.
Leveld village offers open-air art exhibitions all year round. While you’re here, you should also taste the pastries and cakes at Leveld Lefsebakeri, who serve quality goods based on local culture and craftsmanship.
A little further up the mountains, you’ll find the Bergsjø area, where you can go cross-country skiing in the winter and canoeing in the summer.
Or maybe you want to take a horseback ride to the Fagerdalen summer mountain farm, where you’ll be served homemade food like sour cream porridge, butter, and cheese?
The children will probably want a trip to Hallingdal Feriepark – a 5-star luxury campsite with a first-class restaurant and lots of activities and experiences, including a climbing park, adventure golf, and a bike park.
