Visit the Northeast of Oslo with someone special. Discover Romerike.
Romerike's most famous attraction is definitely Eidsvoll 1814. The historic manor house where the constitution was written is now a museum and one of the most important and symbolic cultural heritage sites in Norway. It's well worth a visit.
This rural yet populous region in the Northeast of Oslo has a lot to offer: Galleri Würth in Nittedal exhibits highlights from one of Europe's biggest private art collections, while one of the biggest indoor play centres in Norway is located in Lørenskog. Nearby, you'll find SNØ, a huge indoor skiing centre where you can ski all year round.
In Romerike, you can go for an alpaca walk, mix your own akevitt, the characteristic Scandinavian spirit, or dig for genuine emeralds – and keep them.
